Business partners help connect the classroom to the real world." -Matthew Will, Director of Graduate Business Programs University of Indianapolis The Central Indiana Academy of Finance is one of several Academy programs under the auspices of the National Academy Foundation that assists young people who may never have thought about going on to college or a career, become confident human beings with a sense of purpose. The Academy of Finance introduces high school students to the broad career opportunities of the financial services industry, opening the door to new options and equipping students to make sound choices for the future. The program is designed to give young people the opportunity to see how business really function and to introduce them to career paths in the financial services industry. Academic learning experiences are combined with hands-on work experience to help students develop the thinking and problem solving skills so critical to post secondary education and career success. It is definitely a win-win situation!
