What do you like most about the Academy of Finance?

Amanda: What I like most about the Academy of Finance is the opportunities it gives us to do things that will help gain business skills for our future.

Why is it important to have business partners connected to the Academy of Finance?

Amanda: One really important thing that we have learned in the Academy of Finance is that networking is extremely important in the business world. By having many business partners connected with the Academy of Finance we will have a larger support system to help the Academy succeed.

Why are you a student in the Academy of Finance?

Amanda: I am in the Academy of Finance because of all the wonderful opportunities it gives me to help me in the future.

What lessons have you learned about business through the Academy of Finance?

Amanda: In the Academy of Finance I have learned that there is much more to a business job than just sitting in an office from 9-5. There are so many different jobs that you can do, so you can find a job that suits you perfectly.

How has the Academy of Finance helped you prepare for college and the workforce?

Amanda: I feel like I am much better prepared for college and the workforce because of the Academy of Finance. This summer I will have an internship which will give me many hours of in the office experience. Also next year I am planning on taking a college level business class which will put me a step ahead of many other students planning on taking business classes in college.
